Andromeda, the early 2000s sci-fi show, is... well, I can't recommend it... but it's way better than I thought? It kind of hangs together. Part of my enjoyment so far (8 eps in) is that the world building is surprisingly solid, it's just probably not a world worth all the effort.
In the realm of dodgy 2000s sci-fi/fantasy I rank it below, say, Enterprise but above Beastmaster.
