Unfortunately I've donated to mastodon for over a year and I feel it's been wasted. I still don't have sufficient moderation tools that any sane system of this size would already have. The fact that everything needs to be seen to be moderated is quite wild.

Even an automated reporting system based on keywords that I can manually review would do better than the current system.

There could be offensive content on my instance right now and I wouldn't know about it, simply because I don't see it with my own eyes.😩
