But what is remarkable is that Jeff Landry (Current Atty. Gen.) has received the necessary 50% +1 to avoid a scheduled runoff election in November. (The runoff is an artifact of the Louisiana "Jungle" Primary system)
Gov. Elect Landry has made a name for himself of late as part of the the effort, with the state of Missouri, to take the Biden Admin. to court over Free Speech Issues.
