We lives in times where the political polarisation has reached to such levels that it has become normal for the candidate on the ballot to decree a preemptive election denial narrative, because 'just in case'. How is this healthy for the society?

The only obvious push back against this is to have a election system where the results are auditable in relatively short time with a full-report made public. To avoid audits, observers, and judiciary to hear 'claims of fraud' will only ever result in public distrust and denial. A candidate if so chooses to not concede soon after the release of initial counting, should be able to contest and ask for another recount which should be performed immediately. If they have claims of fraud, a fast-track judicial hearing should be the route for an audit.

It's astonishing that when we have technology such as blockchain where the data is held by the people on the network, and the data itself is virtually incorruptible, we are still using third-party manufactured voting system with patented proprietary code — inaccessible to public.
