Everytime I see the clip from last night’s debate of Chris Christie saying: "I've had enough already tonight of a guy who sounds like ChatGPT,” I’m reminded of the role the insult “glasshole” played in killing Google Glass.
If insults comparing people to ChatGPT really take off it could go a long way to reframing ChatGPT in a highly negative light. Obviously this is just one example, but a trend to watch for.
