Yesterday I did two things that most make me happy. There's only one other thing in my life that has the same effect. Those three are

1. Tea and toast
2. Hot water bottle
3. An open or camp fire

They evoke memories of so many times when resources were scarce. I grew up in a v.low income house with no central heating.

You'd think those memories would bring pain but these two things remind me of comfort and love. They bring me joy.
