This photo needs to be the lasting image of Paris2024. The Olympics that turned men punching women into big money spectator sport.

The women who should have had those places on teams and/or Olympic medals have lost future sponsorship opportunities, in some cases prize money and other life changing moments that are a treasured part of being an Olympic athlete and medallist. It is heartbreaking that so few people were prepared to stand up for them.
