It is something that frustrates me very much, to be honest. Like, I'm a frontend developer who wants to build accessible stuff. Especially, I look for projects where accessiblity is a legal requirement. But then, managers tell you "you don't need to consider accessibility, because we found a gap in the law. What a relief, right?". So you still try to consider it as much as possible, but there's no budget for it, no effort allowed to get accessibility integrated into the development process.
