Mara vet team attended to an injured lion in Maasai Mara-Simba area. The lion was sightedby Dileep of Osera camp. The lion had serious right and left flank injuries caused by a territorial fight and buffalo injuries. The wounds were cleaned and sutured Infected wounds were cleaned with water, hydrogen peroxide and iodine.
Antibiotics and antiinflamatories were administered. Topical antibiotic cream and spray was applied to facilitate healing. Monitoring of the lion continues and the prognosis is good.🙏🦁
