Neighbour asked me to call ambulance for him. He was distressed, having trouble breathing. They arrived, were checking him over, persuaded him to go with them for tests in hospital. One ambo said to me, “Do you recognise me?” I did a double take, YES! She and my kids grew up together. I hugged her (though I don’t know if you’re supposed to hug ambos). She said to the others, “She’s known me since I was born!” Aww.
