Somewhat of a ssh methodology but still has some flaws, instead of backing up on the phone, why not backup to a computer in a encrypted way, and require the most secure way to open the wallet on the phone so nobody can get in if the phone is lost etc. there’s more but my brain is fried right now. Being a Linux admin for work, I’m not keen with running Bitcoin on any other OS. I’m also a cyber security masters degree holder and I know with a fresh mind, I could think of some better layered security solutions for transacting with bitcoin.
