I’m not the former astrophysics major in the house, but today it was me shepherding everyone out of the house to the nearest high point (a bridge over a busy road) to look for a comet, and me who found it. It was best to look at with binoculars, though I found it by looking westward, sideways. (Shortly after sunset.)

Someone came walking over the bridge and was just as pleased as us to see the comet (they even had binoculars). That was fun
