Our QA team tests a wide variety of hardware configurations, which will generally apply to most x86 hardware that shares similar components. We may not be able to test all hardware, but I believe the support to be of a very high caliber due to the testing.
There are always a few systems with regressions from kernel, driver, and firmware updates; but those won't be issues specific to Pop!_OS, but any system shipping that particular kernel, driver, or firmware.
