you might have already heard that toilets in japan have lots of *auxiliary* functions
what you might not know is that nothing is standardized ... and all the labelling is in Japanese
so every time it's a puzzle to figure out how to flush the toilet (and sometimes you get a nice fountain if you guess wrong)
