Snippet: yesterday evening the hummingbird spooked a dove! I was walking across the driveway and I noticed her darting around the orchard. Then she made a little Endor speederbike run through the bushes along the side of the driveway, and a dove came hauling ass out of there and fled to the roof of the house. The poor dove perched on the roof and anxiously watched as the hummingbird went tearing across the driveway, through the roses, and into the garden. She’s so fierce! I’d run away too!
