On ballot papers here there is either Tory & LibDem only or Tory, LibDem, and Labour only. Write anything else other than a cross in one of their boxes and it's a spoilt ballot paper which after the count is over although they count spoilt ballot papers and the number is given by the presiding office is then promptly ignored by literally everyone.
