Kind of sucks to know you don’t get access to your own memories that explain how or why you are the way you are. Feels like I’m being pitied and coddled by my own self, which is basically exactly what it is.
“Why don’t I get to remember, why can I not even know in the abstract?”
Is met with just silence and the occasional “whatever, just deal with not knowing.” Can’t I get something better than that?
