I've managed to successfully get caching (itself quite a bit faster on an nvme ssd instead of a sata ssd, not that it matters since we're going to be limited by so much else before then) and QUIC working, which is pretty cool! For folks who don't know anything about it, HTTP3 runs on UDP using a new system called QUIC. It's supposed to reduce the latency by cutting down the number of back and forth communications required for a single thing. It's been out since 2021, but major web servers are just starting to catch up and support it now.

I'll probably bring things back down for a few hours in a week or two to migrate pleroma to the new box, but for the moment everything's working well and my adrenaline gland is overworked from trying to get everything migrated.
