I am sure that I am just one of thousands whose lives were touched by PBS and why public funding of childhood science shows is necessary.
We need to make math and science easy and accessible to children. It needs to be presented in situations outside of a classroom, which carries its own stigmas and association for children afraid, unwilling, or unable to attend school.
I think science shows on public television serve a vital role in childhood education.
