In taking a look at which are the most popular DEs, I see that there are plenty which use Gnome or modded Gnome by default. But I swore there were some that had KDE Plasma by default, right? Seems to me distros like openSUSE or Endeavour which I thought use Plasma my default actually make you choose which DE you want on install. From that perspective it makes referencing default DEs not a great measure of impact or relevance.
