Netflix is raising their rates again.

I'm on the standard plan. It's my biggest luxury. (There are truly days and sometimes weeks when Netflix provides the only human voices I ever hear.)

I deeply loathe ads and enjoy a life largely insulated from them.

But budget constraints are real, so I have to ask: how awful are the ads on the Netflix ad plan?

I'd love to hear from people who have tried it, especially my fellow ad-averse.
