True story: An AP Government teacher told her students that if they earned a certain score on their AP exam, that she would get a tattoo. Well they reached their goal and she now has a tattoo on her ankle that says "AP GOV."
Take away: We could discuss tattoos and how they are permanent and our opinions on those (I won't - I have about 7 tattoos). Instead I will just note that a teacher felt the need to encourage her students with a TATTOO to make a certain score on a standardized test for the sake of government data.
I hope those students have some critical thinking skills...
