Murders by gun and deaths by car crashes per day in the U.S. are almost equal. Both should be much more heavily regulated and out of existence to the maximum extent feasible. We are appalled by the gun deaths, which we should be . But daily deaths from cars are just the price we are willing to pay for what we see as convenience. But please tell me how life is respected in this country.
