I joined Threads so you don’t have to. Some quick thoughts. First, at the moment, timelines are chock full of people you don’t follow. That’s because the volume of posts from people you do is low - so Threads is doing the Meta thing of just packing your feed with stuff anyway. That is tolerable with photos (because they are visually interesting) but a poor choice with text.
