Adguard Home is better than Pi-hole, but you usually need a software-level ad-blocker to block YT ads. The free Adguard browser extension is okay, but the paid software works better. You can get coupon deals for it on a lot of the tech sites, such as Toms Hardware and the like. I bought a lifetime subscription a few years ago. You can sometimes still get deals on it too.
