Psychedelics taken consciously have been really helpful for liberating myself by giving me what I would call a meditation accelerator from times to times. I hope they will soon go over the terrible image they got from the US government for so long.
For a very good psychedelics wording and journey, I would recommend Aldous Huxley's collection of letter in the book Moshka !
