My main point initially was it's super frustrating that we have a system in which we ultimately only get 2 viable candidates and those are determined by primaries, and to make this even more demoralizing and unrepresentative the parties were only ever going to give us Trump and Biden again. Really a bit depressing when your choices are 1. the guy in office and 2. the guy in office before, and nothing fundamentally changed that much anyway. Like fuck it, let's just flip a coin and save everyone months of bullshit for all I care

As far as Haley goes, like I said, not a fan of hers. She said that Internet shit. She's made it clear she's for more foreign aid and military interventions which I'm not a fan of. Like most of the candidates she felt like putting a bunch of politicians into a blender and gettting the most bland type of person that won't acknowledge many of the core issues that affect most americans and certainly has no plans to fix them. That being said, I do like not having someone geriatric at the helm. I'd like for media coverage to not talk constantly about their constant gaffes and more about the issues (I know this will never happen and probably wouldn't change anything instead).

So whatever, I guess I'll sit back and we can watch a bunch of totally organic protests happen and hear the rhetoric about how this election is totally the most important election of our lifetimes again. It's just fucking tiring to think about.
