I’ve got accounts over on Bluesky and Threads. Bluesky feels more like Fediverse than Threads, despite Threads being (technically?) part of the Fediverse. Threads suffers from the same problem as any Meta product, which is that there’s an algorithm trying to pick what it thinks I want to see, and it’s more often than not wrong AF.

Bluesky feels more like Fediverse, since it seems to just be feeding me things chronologically… but I’m mostly just following “semi-famous” people who I don’t actually expect engage in discussion with me, so uh… not really my jam.

I guess all of these platforms are somewhat a “yelling into the void” style of communication. If I really want to have a nuanced chat, I have Discord/Mattermost/Slack/etc type platforms for that.
