Tonight is the 5th night of an especially complicated Hanukkah in a time of war and grief. In our house we honor our disparate seasonal traditions in low-key ways that are more cultural than religious.

I wasn't sure I felt in touch with #hanukkah this year at all, between moving house and the ongoing tragedies in many directions in the world. Music, tho, can be centering.
