Biking every day, Day 9: Still in heat wave and then game night, so I didn’t go out until nearly 11pm. Had my first near collision in these dark empty streets - with another cyclist. Guy blew straight past me from my left as I approached an intersection. Me with lights and a helmet, him with neither, he didn’t even turn to notice me. I thought I’d love a night ride, but I didn’t feel as safe as I thought I would. Not complaining, just observing.
