If fertilized eggs count as people, do they have to be counted in the decadal census? What does that do to Congressional apportionment? What about the Electoral College? Can states manufacture political power by fertilizing millions of eggs? Will we end up with another ridiculous 3/5 compromise to represent frozen pre-citizens? None of this makes sense if you think about it for more than a second.
