This has many layers:
There is a receiver and a sender.
In these times _both_ receivers and senders focus and are influenced by their national bubble.
The level of noise in this really differs from country to country.

Anyway, if receivers would try to not only read headlines but try to get an active and international perspective and look for experts which voices are often very silent but helpful:
