Ok, rummaging through my junk boards I ran into one with a 12Mhz 68010. This one **seems** to take the overclock to 14Mhz, the previous one I tried did not.
Fit it into my A500 rev.3, which is a rather temperamental machine: it has an 8mb/14Mhz SF500 accelerator and an expansion that brings it to 1mb of chip RAM and 1.5mb of slow RAM, for a total of 10.5mb.
This contraption works as long as the expansion runs at 14Mhz. It hangs at 7 unless I replace the trapdoor 2mb expansion with a standard 512kb on (or I remove it altogether) or I pull out the SF500 and leave the 2mb expansion.
How worse can it get with a 68010?
