Fake Stanley cups are my favorite genre of popular counterfeit item right now, because there are consistently the same tells on otherwise incredibly accurate fakes with really awesome dupe packaging and stuff. I desperately want to know why from a mechanical engineering perspective they can even get the exact screws right but can’t ever put the handle in the right place. Why is that in specific the impossible part to copy?
