John Altringham on Nostr: Another Scottish mountain wood engraving in progress, with the first test print. ...
Another Scottish mountain wood engraving in progress, with the first test print. Quite a lot of small refinements needed. I often like these early patchy prints (ink does not take well to new wood) more than the 'finished' prints with their crisp delineations and intense blacks.
Can anyone identify it? A popular day trip from Glasgow.
