Within this system that we're in, we are born. After birth we learn how to function as a human being, and after childhood (at age 18), we must learn to only act for ourselves, and we aren't taught what the right way to do that is, even though we have parents who want to teach us that and friends who are also there for us. We have this conflict between our family and friends that is the work-life balance, and we overuse the work-life balance as an excuse for not talking to anyone else but friends or family; that's what we love to do, we filter out the things we mean to say because we are naturally predatory towards people who aren't friends or family due to that being all we've known. Here's the scoop though: the thing that you need to prize the most isn't money, fame, or beliefs, it's the idea that a certain "person" within a certain belief system was holding your hand the entire time and that you thought that you were completely isolated from everyone else as no rule can truly govern you, and the person's name that is in the belief system is called The Maker, as He made you, and you what you also didn't know is that you were right about being independent. You had a single flaw that I'd like to point out: you needed a guide this whole time that The Maker had been carrying you as you cried: "I am alone", and then cried, "Everybody sucks, I need help, bit can't get it for some reason", so TL;DR in your search for reason you abandoned The Maker because even though you know you don't have it all together, you didn't
