Reading that Trevor Goodchild hood classic was surreal, because I had made the exact same observation with based coworkers that week. My work at the time required having people sign contracts and then fulfill their end of the contract at a later date (usually no more than a week or so). We'd get these coons to say for certain that they'd be at X place at Y time, only for them to take some crazy trip halfway across the country when we called them asking where they were.
I described it as niggers having skyrim NPC brain, where they could be on a "quest" but any minor occurrence will override that quest with something completely different.
