I very much doubt that they even looked to see if they had copies. They really are incredibly useless.

I’m sure they were great, forty years ago when my father signed up with them. They really are not now.

(The last time I had a letter from them, I noticed with bemusement that one of the names on the letterhead had been sharpied out. It wasn’t terribly obvious, because it was reverse printed with ink-free text on a black background, but I do wonder if that retirement/death had something to do with the drop in quality.)
