I just spent a week helping my kids look after their kids during spring break in a world that doesn't allow for time off if the mortgage is to be paid.
It was a great week, we painted umbrellas, made secret moss bottle necklaces, made Faerie doors for the woods out back, made cornstarch and baking soda clay creatures, built a fort from the poles and branches on the ground out back, and made summer plans. There was swinging, trampoline jumping and woodsy walks.
As a side note.. my knee is killing me... 🥴 I am blessed to have these tiny ones in my life. They are what keeps me fighting for the future.
