What do you mean by fixed .. bitcoin has been expanding todate since its inception .. first four years were like the inflationary epoch right after big bang :-) ..
As of date there is around 40 million dollars daily new supply of bitcoin .. this will be like four billion dollars in year 2050 because of the high value of bitcoin even though block reward would be like 0.1 btc ..
