When I de-escalated the situation yesterday, the person making the complaint didn’t have much to stand on. She was then basically told “no”. And proceeded to get overly emotional. So, I stepped in the mediate. Explained the situation in a more comforting way. Gave her a different perspective. Calmed her down. And she actually apologized to the other person.
