These things are a bit shaky overall, but getting better.
- Sometimes relays refuse connections and the client does not receive notes from them
- Some clients don't broadly push profile updates, resulting in multiple versions floating around
- Some clients have different ways of checking relays, resulting in different data sets
- Some services (like Primal) have caching systems, while others do not
Good thing is that nothing is fundamentally broken due to these inconsistencies. With more development and operation experience, these problems should fade away (fingers crossed).
