According to this article, if I understand it correctly, at present there are only 9-9,5 million people working in Ukraine. A third of them work for the state.

At the same time the number of people that collect state welfare in various forms (pensioners, children, unemployed) is 22-23 millions. Furthermore, Ukrainian analysts project, that in a few years there will be 2 times more pensioners, than it is now.

Not very bright future ahead of Ukraine, I guess, regardless of the war result.
