The mannerisms were probably most telling. People cutting in lines, trying to get into dinners they didn’t reserve, attitudes towards servers. Basically the American stereotypes. Plus the drinking, gambling, over indulgence.
People on Nostr do not seem to display a lot of these characteristics and actively aim for a better future/present through mindfulness, discipline, and self awareness.
