It makes me sad that floppy disks are a dying breed, and have been for like 15 years.
With no factories currently making new ones, it's only a matter of time till the old ones all fail for the last time.
Yes, they're only 1.44Mb apiece and no, they're not _for_ modern day computing.
I just think they're neat.
And I think a part of what made computing's soul so adventurous died the moment we stopped having to physically move data around as much as we used to.
