We have Zeus and Alby and probably someone I'm forgetting where you can buy a channel and have your own node right?
Yeah we need more, but I don't think it's dire.
But I'm also in the custodial for small amounts camp. It's easy, and you can move to your self custody lightning when it grows and then onchain when it's UTXO worthy.
