I've seen the locusts arrive.

I'm aware. I'd rather deal with locusts every 13 years than, like...seriously, I'd put out food for the cats at 8 a.m. and there would be a swarm of fruit flies and visible egg clusters by noon, and since the fruit flies kept the cats from wanting to finish the food, there would maggots if I didn't fix it by dinner time. I spent a big chunk of the summer trying to not vomit.
