I've been pointing this out for weeks: For all the alarmist posts from some about a "50% fatality rate," every known case of bird flu in the US this year has been mild. No deaths. No hospitalizations.

This could change, but the level of fearmongering doesn't seem aligned to the data or experience. Bird Flu is a big risk for farmers and ranchers. And it may evolve to be more dangerous. But right now, pay attention the actual health risks we face this respiratory season.
