Think about it. If you were obscenely wealthy, would you really have any self-interest in democracy? Of course not. Which is why it’s antithetical to democracy to allow money to infect politics. If we survive, we must have difficult decisions barring those with wealth from having undue influence in how we govern ourselves. The would be oligarchs must be shut out.
