Look at what the heat wave has done to the squirrel that lives in the tree behind my apartment!

After I took this photo, I put a small bowl of filtered ice water on the balcony railing for him. As I went out there, he ran into his tree, of course. He only made it to the first branch, where he is now similarly sprawled. I hope he ventures back down to see what I put out there for him.
